2 - HOCKEY SHOT
Light weight hockey sticks or putters used to hit balls into a hoop target. Try your skill in assessing how much of a tap to give the ball so that it rides over the 1 and 2 score rings to score a 3!

EquiPment:
3 different sized hoops - Large, medium, small.
3 DIY Hoop spacers / score holders - the spacers hold the hoops in position to prevent them moving as soon as the balls bump over them.
Centre score holder and under hoop score discs.
Scores for inserting into score holders.
Suitable lightweight hockey stick. May need two sizes if adults and children playing. All kit to be child friendly / safe as appropriate.
3 small air balls
Child safe bowl for the balls located at the ‘hitting’ point.
Marker to designate the ‘hitting’ point where players shoot from.
Some way of designating the play area to suit your situation. One option might be to use rain water guttering but this along with all other aspects of the games equipment will need to be appropriately assessed for child safety by the organisers of the event.
Scoreboard and pen or score sheets.
how to play:
Players shoot from the hitting point having 3 balls for each go. Skill is in aiming for the highest score in the centre of the target. Simple 3-2-1 score arrangement.
