11- Centurions Outfit (for adult use only!)

As for all props the centurions outfit is intended for use by a competent adult only.

Helmet - Cardboard and a suitable material for crest on top. (main cardboard parts painted bronze)
Breastplate - Cardboard (painted bronze)
Tunic under breastplate - Red T-shirt
Leather skirt - Cardboard (painted a leathery brown)
Breastplate undergarment - Red T-shirt
Leather skirt undergarment - Neutral coloured shorts
Footwear - Sandals
Cloak - a red bed sheet or similar
Sword & scabbard - suitable purchase, light weight ‘toy’ style
Spear - Wooden pole shaft with cardboard spearhead (spearhead painted silver and shaft painted to look like natural wood)

Spearhead made from a cardboard tube fixed to a spearhead shaped piece of cardboard. The whole assembly is then overlaid with several layers of papier mache and painted silver when dry.
