8 - UPS AND DOWNS

Simple, fast moving game where two teams compete to turn 20 - 25 paper cups the right way up in the shortest time.

Equipment:

40 - 50 large coloured paper cups.

Two tables.

How to play:

Put out a decent sized table for each of the two teams. Place 20 - 25 large paper cups upside down on each of the tables. Choose two children from each team to play. On the command of GO, the children start turning over the cups as quickly as they can. When all of the cups have been turned over they stack them into one pile. The first pair to upturn all of the cups and gather them into a single stack wins.
